Long Overdue Update
by Holyßurger, 9 days agoGreeting minions!
It's been a while since the last update, and sadly that is due to my own slacking with some things I have going on at the moment. I have failed at my duties and shall be flogged by Thornmail covered pudding cups while being forced to dance in a fruit hat at a later date in time. Anyways, on to the updates!
First off, and this was a big one, we downed Warmaster Blackhorn after a failed attempt the previous week due to myself and Reaver being forced to miss out due to our work schedules and a horrible attempt at pugging which had made the night a wash for the most part. But here you have it, Warmaster DOWN! Putting us at 6/8 in the Dragonsoul 10 man content.

The week following, or last week rather, was an amazing set of days for the group.
The first night found us setting the raid on farm mode and working our way up to and through the Warmaster fight with ease and left us with plenty of time for a few attempts on the Spine of Deathwing fight so we could get the hang of the mechanics, quite a shock for some of us who weren't quite expecting the mechanics to have changed so drastically from LFR down to 10m.
The following night, all the stops were pulled and we definitely brought put on our game faces. The entire raid showed up that night early and ready to go, game faces super glued on. That did not leave the night without incident though, early on, we lost Imajika to outside issues which needed immediate tending to, so we had to pug up another DPS to fill the slot fast.
Enter Chingado..

This mage had the knowledge and the know how, as well as a few tricks of his own to help us power through this fight. Despite knowing that it was a progression fight for us, and we may have well spent all night there with no promise of advancement, he stuck it out. He took a few hard hits in the final moments and was key in making sure the tentacles that were given up time, didn't have the chance to decimate random raiders.
Shockingly enough, we managed to get through Spine on only the fourth attempt... setting us up at 7/8 in the Dragonsoul 10m content

This left us up for nearly an entire night of just Deathwing himself, in the final raid fight for this expansion. Again, with the help of Chingado and his knowledge and tactics, we managed to make it pretty far. We didn't get him down, but it was close enough for first attempts! This week should surely see that big gay bird fall into that fiery abyss.
Special Thanks once again to Chingado and congrats ot the rest of the raiders. Keep up the good work and let's cut through Deathwing before Blizz goes and nerfs it on us. I think that would be quite na impressive notch on all of our belts!
Diablerie is a band of wild souls who have been playing along side one another for the last three years. Originally starting in the midst of another server and now seeking to branch out from a home that now stands dead or at best over-ran with slacking players. At the start of the Lich King expansion, this core group has been focused on finding particicular members who can manage themselves well and seek progression— and we assure you that you will gain more than just that within our midst.
Smashing anything and everything Alliance and sticking together has become a bit of a specialty for us over the past few years. With the release of Cataclysm, we have turned our sights on end game raiding and content, while finding a balance of fun and hard-tempered focus.
Diablerie offers it all; Raiding, Leveling and Social Activities (as long as aforementioned slots are available for new comers). We are laid back, friendly and mature players who look at Diablerie as more then just some in-game guild, but more of a highly dysfunctional, extended family of sorts with a zero-tolerance policy for dramatics.
It truly takes a special breed of person to fit in with this group of misfits. Diablerie is not a raiding guild ONLY. We are an eclectic group who tries to aide to everyone's desires where in-game material is concerned. Join now or seek play elsewhere!
-x This group of players gained access to Beta keys before Cata was released; information is in an over abundance if it is needed.
-x This group of players have already finished normal content. (For more information seek said toons by name on World of Warcraft's armory.)
